Arts and Cultural Projects and Exhibtions

Streetwise Istanbul was exhibited March 2020 in my hometown Spokane, WA, at the Saranac Art Gallery, and it ran from June to October 2021 at the Sancar Turksih Cultural and Community Center, sponsored by the Aziz and Gwen Sancar Foundation, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It will be hosted in Ireland at the Mullingar Arts Centre Gallery. The openining reception will be held October 19th 5:30-7:30pm and will run through November 9th.

I have given presentations about Streetwise Istanbul at The Moore Institute, National University of Ireland, Galway, and at The Near Eastern Languages and Civilization Program at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, a sponsor of this project. It was awarded a grant by the Turkish Cultural Foundation, Istanbul.

A local Spokane newspaper, The Inlander, brought Streetwise Istanbul online. It can be seen and read at the link provided here or on this webpage.
